After seeing the physical and emotional effects of unhealthy lifestyle habits on her parents in their later years and dealing with her health challenges after menopause, she has made it her mission to help others change their health trajectory by making consistent adjustments to their diet and lifestyle. Terri lives near the beautiful Jersey Shore in Barnegat with her loving spouse of 36 years and her 10-year-old Bullie, Annabelle.
I've struggled with managing my weight since my early twenties. Despite years of dieting and exercise, I found myself trapped in a frustrating cycle—my body and emotions stuck in a loop that never seemed to break.
Menopause arrived at 48, and within a few years, I was 30 pounds heavier, juggling corporate stress and battling Lyme-related arthritis. The pain made movement difficult, and the fatigue dimmed my spirit. I was watching my parents’ health decline—witnessing firsthand how poor nutrition and inactivity can steal vitality. Losing my mom was a profound moment. It cracked something open in me. Her passing wasn’t just heartbreaking—it was a wake-up call.
I realized that wellness couldn’t wait. It was time to it reclaim my life.
Fueled by a deep passion for health and fitness, I set out to find real answers. I discovered that the solution wasn’t another restrictive diet—it was a mindset shift. I invested in myself, earning certifications in Fitness and Nutrition. I learned that sustainable weight loss, reduced pain, increased energy, and renewed confidence are possible through consistent, compassionate changes to how we eat, move, and care for ourselves.
Today, I’m equipped to guide women—especially those navigating life after 50—through lasting transformation. Whether it’s shedding weight, boosting energy, or rebuilding confidence from the inside out, my mission is to help you create sustainable, health-forward habits that feel empowering—not overwhelming.

Sustainable progress. These two words best capture what the Embrace Wellness program has given to me. I’ve lost nearly 20 pounds and still have three more weeks to go. I am beyond thrilled! The best part is that I know I can keep myself on this path. It is not a quick fix that’s here today and gone tomorrow.
I was a skinny youth who became an overweight mom. To “fix” myself, I turned to some of the most popular methods of the time: Suzanne Somers, Atkins, Paleo, Insanity workouts, Isagenix, Weight Watchers, soups, intermittent fasting, grapefruits, etc. None of it stuck.
Now nearing age 64 with a son’s wedding a few months away, I felt I needed to give myself one more chance to make the real, positive change I dreamed of. I am incredulous that I am actually realizing that dream. I can’t say it is any one thing that Terri does that has helped my relationship with food and exercise. It is just her overall mix of warm support, positive accountability, and relevant information.
I especially like the weekly Zoom chats. They keep me honest and informed. In Terri, I feel I have someone who sees my ups and downs and is really rooting for me! She is neither preachy nor punitive. I also enjoy the workout program and the recipes she has shared with me. My meals are super healthy, delicious, and filling.
My journey has not been a straight line, but this program has truly given me the tools and confidence to weather my missteps and continue toward progress. And, the weight continues to come off. I’m fitting into clothes I haven’t worn in years. I feel younger, lighter, faster, and stronger. I even signed up for a 5K next month.

My wellness journey with Terri Scrivano has been a life changer, and I have learned so much in the last 2 ½ months.

Before starting the program with Terri, I struggled to be mindful of healthy eating. In my younger years, I never had to think about dieting, and weight was never an issue for me.
Since working with Terri, I have become much more aware of what I eat and drink. I used to be a huge Diet Pepsi drinker, but now I make an effort to choose water instead, which is a significant change for me! Additionally, I am more conscious of the snacks I consume and now opt for healthier choices instead of desserts like cupcakes.
The benefits don't stop there. Terri has also helped me improve my overall quality of life. I have learned a lot about managing the stress that comes from everyday life.
