As someone who struggled with my weight and being trapped in the diet cycle for decades, I finally figured out the solution. A wake-up call changed everything and forced me to learn an important truth: wellness begins with your mindset. My name is Terri, and I coach women who have faced similar struggles.
My mission is simple:
To help you feel confident, energized, and deeply supported as you create a healthier, more vibrant life.
For most of my adult life, I struggled with my weight.
From my early twenties on, I was caught in a cycle of dieting, over‑exercising, starting over, and never feeling like anything truly worked. My body felt stuck, and emotionally, I felt even more trapped.
When menopause arrived at 48, everything intensified. Within a few years, I was 30 pounds heavier, juggling corporate stress, and managing Lyme‑related arthritis. The pain made movement difficult. The fatigue dimmed my spirit. And at the same time, I was watching my parents’ health decline — seeing how poor nutrition and inactivity can slowly steal vitality.
Losing my mom was the moment everything shifted.
It cracked something open in me. Her passing wasn’t just heartbreaking — it was a wake‑up call. I realized that wellness couldn’t wait. I couldn’t keep putting myself last. I couldn’t keep hoping “the next diet” would finally fix things.
It was time to reclaim my life.
Fueled by a deep passion for health and fitness, I set out to find real answers. And what I discovered changed everything:
The solution wasn’t another restrictive diet. It was a mindset shift.
I invested in myself, earning certifications in Fitness and Nutrition. I learned how the body changes in midlife, how hormones impact energy and weight, and how sustainable wellness comes from consistent, compassionate habits — not punishment, not restriction, not shame.
I learned that:
• sustainable weight loss is possible
• pain can decrease
• energy can return
• confidence can be rebuilt
• and it all happens through simple, supportive changes to how we eat, move, and care for ourselves

Sustainable progress. These two words best capture what the Embrace Wellness program has given to me. I’ve lost nearly 20 pounds and still have three more weeks to go. I am beyond thrilled! The best part is that I know I can keep myself on this path. It is not a quick fix that’s here today and gone tomorrow.


My wellness journey with Terri Scrivano has been a life changer, and I have learned so much in the last 2 ½ months.

I was struggling with so much before we worked together. What I find most surprising and encouraging is my mindful approach toward eating and exercise has continued with ease, even after we completed working together. I no longer feel guilty or stressed about eating. I can treat myself every once in a while, without sabotaging my plan due to guilt.
